UNODC/ UNICEF - The 15 Juvenile Justice Indicators (2006) - 20 April 2006
Other

The document "15 Juvenile Justice Indicators" was published by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC)and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). This document contains a list of fifteen indicators, developed by UNICEF and UNODC in consultation with NGOs and individual experts and endorsed by the Interagency Panel on Juvenile Justice. This set of indicators serves to assist any actor working with children in conflict with the law to assess the extent to which juvenile justice systems are in place and functioning. The indicators, both quantitative and policy/implementation indicators, do this by providing information on what happens to children who come into conflict with the law, as well as by providing a means to assess the policy environment needed to ensure the protection of such children: PDF, 1 page.
